Sean Doyle, President and Director Business Development, Marketing and Sales
As of December 2008, Sean has added the responsibility for the day-to-day operations of muNet to the sales and marketing responsibilities he has been performing in the past. Sean is responsible for both direct and channel sales initiatives. Over the past eight years Sean has been involved with most customer-oriented functions at muNet including project planning, customer service, installation support, and inside and outside sales. Prior to joining muNet, Sean was a Technical Sales and Support leader with the Telecommunications Service Provider division of American Power Conversion, the world leader in UPS and power protection solutions. Sean holds a BS in Geology from the University of Rhode Island.
Vincent C. Moeyersoms,†Co-founder and CEO
Vincentís focus is on the company's business development activities. Prior to muNet, Vincent ran the business development activities of Sarnoff Digital Communications, a spin-off of Sarnoff Corporation, developing transmission technology for the digital communications industry. He also started and managed A3 Technologies, which developed and manufactured extreme properties flexible composite membranes. As president of the America3 Foundation, he led the team of the two-year, $65 million effort that won the 1992 America's Cup. Vincent holds an MBA degree from Boston University.
Dr. William C. Unkel, Co-founder and CTO
Billís focus is on technology development. Dr. Unkel's engineering interests have ranged from molecular physics to sailing, all including computer data acquisition, processing and control components. Bill's activities have included several years teaching as associate professor at MIT in the Mechanical Engineering department, and his activities as Director of Electronics and Instrumentation during two America's cup campaigns. Prior business activities include UnkelSoftware, Inc. and Sports Products, Inc. each exploiting technology created by Dr. Unkel at MIT and at America3 respectively. Bill has a BS degree from Clarkson College and MS and PhD degrees from Stanford University.
Engineering Development and Production
muNet has an experienced technical staff to support all aspects of product design and development, and final assembly and testing. muNet is especially equipped for rapid evolution of products from proof of concept to full production. By augmenting these internal skills with a judicious combination of local and offshore board and sub-assembly houses, muNet is able to create the WebGate family of products for a wide range of metrology systems. Jim Kitson, Senior Software Development Engineer
Jimís focus is on the development of software tools for managing and communicating with muNetís WebGate AMI System devices. Over the last nine years, Jim has expanded his knowledge of software systems, databases and interfaces to make these systems easier to use and more efficient. Jim has been responsible for software products from initial design to final installation with customer networks. Jim holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.
Johnson Tran, Senior Hardware Development Engineer
Over the past 5 years, Johnson has been directly involved in the hardware research and development surrounding muNetís WebGate AMI Systems. During that time his responsibilities have included WebGate hardware design and layout, product compliance testing, and produce implementation. Prior to joining muNet, Johnson was a Hardware Design and Test Engineer with the world leader in Data Storage and Supercomputing Company. He has a BS degree in EE from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Aaron Jones, Production manager
MU Net, Inc. is privately funded company, located off Rt. 128 in Lexington, MA. and is celebrating its 14th Year of operations from its founding in 1997.
